The students are so proud of their work and hope that their books can serve as guides to help other students succeed in the future.\r\n\r\nThe students were extremely excited to dive in! Many of them immediately began brainstorming ideas and discussing how they could make their books helpful and creative. Your support has had an incredible impact on my students, and I want to share how much this gift has enriched our classroom learning.\r\n\r\nThrough Haidt's book, my students had the opportunity to engage with a well researched argument that is both timely and relevant to their lives. It served as a compelling model for how to construct well-supported claims while examining the complex, real-world consequences of living and learning with smartphones. These discussions were not only academically engaging but also personally meaningful, as many students reflected on how technology impacts their mental health, relationships, and educational habits.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, we are now diving into writing our own research-based arguments, inspired by the techniques we analyzed in Haidt's work. From crafting clear theses to integrating evidence thoughtfully, my students are building the skills they need to become thoughtful writers, critical thinkers, and informed citizens.\r\n\r\nYour gift has empowered my students to connect classroom learning with their everyday experiences and motivated them to use their voices to contribute to important conversations.
