I am requesting books that will help students build resilience during their first in-person year back at school after the COVID-19 closure of 2020/2021. We will create a "Counselors' Corner" in the library, consisting of high-quality books that will assist students in coping with grief, anxiety, and other severe stressors. We would also use these books within our offices to aid us in helping students process difficult emotions. These books will help students build resilience at their own pace. Students will have the opportunity to visit the library before school, during lunch, and after school.
