Because of your generosity, our students took the stage at our Fall Showcase with brand-new speakers, and the difference was incredible.\r\n\r\nFor the first time, every voice and every note filled the room clearly. Families in the back row could hear our singers just as well as those up front, and our performers could hear themselves, which gave them the confidence to sing out boldly. You could see it on their faces: they felt proud, prepared, and truly heard.\r\n\r\nGetting ready for the showcase was a learning experience in itself. Through rehearsals and dress rehearsals, students practiced with purpose, learned to listen carefully to one another, and encouraged their classmates to make great choices so every rehearsal counted. On performance night, all of that hard work came together in a show our school community won't soon forget.\r\n\r\nThese speakers will continue to amplify our students' voices at concerts, assemblies, and performances for years to come. The games give students a chance to practice skills, work together, and have fun while learning. One of my favorite moments is seeing students working together, encouraging each other, and getting excited when they figure something out.\r\n\r\n**How did your students react when they first saw the materials?**\r\nThey were very excited! The students immediately wanted to see what games we received and started asking when they could play. They were especially excited to have new activities to choose from and enjoyed being able to learn in a different way.\r\n\r\nWe will continue using the games and activities to practice skills we are currently learning in class. My goal is for students to keep building their confidence while working independently and with their classmates. With your support, I was also able to keep foot traffic in the hallways to a minimum increasing the want to be in the classroom. \r\n\r\nCurrently students are so engaged with staying in class anticipating snacks that on our end of module test in math students collectively score in the 78th percentile.
