By contributing to my classroom library, you are promoting the power of reading to my students. You are helping them defeat all odds and read on their current grade level by the end of the year. You are supporting a love of reading in ALL students. My students understand the power of a book and love to carry their books around. They get so excited when they get new books, especially that they can read. Graphic novels have been successful with my students. Last year, they couldn't put down the Lighting Thief and I would love to get the sequels!
