My voracious readers deserve a library that will take them on adventures fitting of their insatiable appetite for exploring the unknown. With your help, my littles can escape reality as these words weave new worlds into existence-- worlds in which my students see themselves reflected in the characters, who persevered and triumphed in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. My hope is that they find themselves lost in these pages-- empathizing with characters as they experience joy, love, and friendship but also anger, anguish, and loss. I hope to see shoulders shaking with laughter and tears rolling down cheeks, audible gasps and quick glances around the room to see if anyone else has just had the same ground-shifting, earth-shattering experience. As my students feel the full range of human emotion at the hands of their favorite series, I hope they realize the true power of words on paper and that their love of reading only grows!
