As a first year teacher I am constantly searching for ways to engage my students in a manner that creates a love of learning. By providing new, inclusive and STEM related books to our library I hope to build interest in new topics. Although I have received so much support from my school and as many resources that are available, our class library still needs better options. Also having tangible letters and numbers for our kiddos with learning gaps will make it a more inclusive classroom. The use of the sensory tools will also assist with the difficult transition of being back in a school building. With that in mind, and seeing what this unprecedented time has exposed, having a classroom full of learning options will help me assist our babies.
