At Kipp Columbus, we succeed not only on rigor and content but also building up the whole child through a nurturing environment and cultivating character. My goal as a science teacher for incoming fifth graders is to not only own the science content but to turn that content into a discussion through inquiry-based learning. The more materials I can get in students' hands the better! We have fun with science and I want that love for the subject to follow my children to careers and making a difference.
