Whiteboards will make a huge difference in a student's learning whether we are learning within the classroom or distance learning. Each student will have their very own whiteboard and markers to maintain safety protocols. For example, in 5th grade, we learn to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators. This is a multi-step process, and the students must keep their work organized as they work through the procedure. Whiteboards help students maintain focus and the quick eras-ability helps them work through their thought process more efficiently than paper. During Math Instruction, students can practice on whiteboards and quickly erase and start again. Students solve problems on the whiteboard and the teacher can quickly identify if the student is ready to move on or needs more practice.
