As we move forward in this pandemic, many schools, like my own, have gone back fully in-person. While this has given students the opportunity to learn, grow, and cultivate relationships with others, it has also been a huge adjustment. My 3rd graders are intelligent, loving, energetic, and so much more. Many of my students become fidgety after sitting for a while and COVID safety protocols require students to stay in one seat. This has made flexible seating difficult to implement in the classroom. It is my goal to provide my students with seat cushions and fidget chair bands to assist them with staying seated for a longer period of time while also providing them with comfort and energetic release. Help me help my fidgety learners!
