It has made our classroom feel even more special and allows students to take pride in seeing their creations showcased.\r\n\r\nOur art center is now fully stocked with materials ranging from pom poms to stickers, giving students endless opportunities to create amazing works of art. My students are especially obsessed with the hole punches! Our sensory area has also become a favorite. With the new sand toys, students love exploring and building, especially since I rotate the toys so there is always something new to discover. Once summer starts and the weather gets warmer, the sand table will turn into a water table, and I'm sure my students are going to be obsessed.\r\n\r\nMany of the other toys are also used daily as transition activities in our busy bags. These innovative toys allow students to build and create while we wait for everyone to finish eating or prepare for the next activity. We ended up setting new school records and killed it in the meet!\r\nWhen we first got the packages, the kids were soo happy and excited. They felt like they had hope to become their best selves, and preform at their best for their athletic competitions. They continue to be very happy and excited. \r\nNext steps for my students are to keep going, keep training, and to stay on top of their work so they can be eligible and ready for their competitions coming up. We know that they are STUDENT athletes first, so making sure they have all their academic responsibilities taken care of is key. \r\nBecause of your kind donations, my students are more successful in the classroom and during their athletic competitions. When students clip on a microphone or set up lighting before filming, they immediately take their roles more seriously. They speak with more intention, plan their shots more carefully, and collaborate more effectively. The equipment has transformed our classroom into a functioning newsroom environment.
