Students of different backgrounds come together to learn about their place in the universe. They will activate their current critical thinking and math skills by applying them during observation, data collection, and creating graphs. Based on the data they have collected, they'll be able to draw their own conclusions and open doors to even more questions. These instruments will play a huge role in their development to abstract and comprehend real-world situations with the language of data and math. They will get the opportunity to take daily data on the most common celestial objects (Sun and Moon) and learn about the different phases or events that happen to them. In addition, they will learn about the innovations and challenges of the instruments used in science and how it is always a continuous project to improve them.

About my class
