Hello! Welcome to the land of opportunity. If you are ever at Mater Academy in East Las Vegas, ask for Mr. Ezra. I am a Spanish Teacher at Mater Academy East Las Vegas, a tuition-free public charter school. My passion is teaching through relationships, both with people and the learning process itself. Our vision is to create a global citizen in every child, who is ready for the world that awaits them. Additionally, we serve a community that benefits greatly from the various sports, tutoring, and early literacy programs that we offer before, during, and after school. The purpose of Mater Academy, and the reason I love showing up, is that we intentionally reach out to "at-risk" students. We are convinced that soon enough, the same children once ignored and marginalized will become the very means by which their community is transformed.
