We need an iPad to increase movement and engagement as we work with the Interactive White board. This iPad will allow me to better interact with my students during direct instruction. Using the iPad, I can connect to my Interactive White Board from anywhere in the room ensuring that my students stay focused and receive my full attention. Currently I operate my Interactive White Board from my desk top computer, which prohibits me from engaging with my students and giving them individualized instruction. Once I have the iPad I will be able to use a classroom application that allows me to run my PowerPoints, lead interactive games, and instruct from anywhere in the room. I can also allow my students to use the iPad to actively participate in the smart board work and blended learning programs from their desks or in their small group centers.
