These calculators will allow my students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to work around math deficits that have only been exacerbated during the Covid-19 pandemic. My students are already behind their peers academically due to their learning deficits but these calculators and organization tools will allow them to make up for some of their deficits and increase learning. My students are presently having to manually calculate decimals, multi-digit math operations, fractions, etc. when the use of calculators would allow them to focus on how to solve real world math problems instead of the minutiae of grade school math mechanics. This slow down because of my student's lack of computing abilities bogs down learning and is making the loss of academic time from the pandemic even more profound. Additionally, my students are very unorganized and the binders will allow students to become more organized and enable them to set up interactive notebooks that will help them with their organization of school materials and learn better.
