Many of them already use devices at home, but in the classroom, these tools are used with purpose—to support reading, reinforce math skills, and provide interactive learning experiences tailored to each student's level. With headphones available, students are able to fully engage with digital content such as audiobooks, instructional videos, and adaptive learning programs without distractions. This helps them stay focused and allows for more personalized learning.\r\n\r\nSeveral students, especially those who benefit from auditory support or who are easily distracted, have really embraced this technology. For example, some of my struggling readers have gained confidence by following along with audio-supported texts, while others who need extra repetition can revisit lessons as often as needed. Students who are typically hesitant to participate in whole-group settings often thrive when using headphones, as it gives them a safe and comfortable way to engage with the material.\r\n\r\nOverall, headphones may seem simple, but they make a powerful difference in helping students stay focused, build independence, and access learning in a way that works best for them.","fullyFundedDate":1769895292942,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-for-my-classroom/10067893/","projectTitle":"Headphones for My Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vera","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8729292_orig.jpg?crop=4965,4965,x1663,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1772124483221","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8729292"},{"teacherId":10074824,"projectId":9650866,"letterContent":"My students have been working so hard to earn their PBIS tickets for good behavior and kindness, but having a physical store to visit makes it all feel so much more real. The tool bag has been especially helpful for quickly tightening loose table legs and fixing small issues so learning can continue without disruption. The first aid kit has allowed me to respond immediately to minor bumps and scrapes, helping students feel safe and cared for in the moment. \r\nThe students were excited and curious when they noticed the new bins and supplies in the classroom. Using Play-Doh during the first days of school worked extremely well. The students were engaged, which helped set a positive tone for the day.
