Students were excited to discover new characters and stories, and many loved that there were multiple books in each series. This encouraged them to keep reading and helped build enthusiasm for books.\r\n\r\nThese early readers support important literacy skills such as decoding, recognizing sight words, building fluency, and strengthening comprehension. Because the books are carefully leveled, students were able to experience success while reading independently. Many students chose to reread their favorite books multiple times, which provided valuable practice and helped increase their confidence as readers.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding outcomes was seeing hesitant readers eagerly pick up books and feel proud of what they could accomplish on their own. Students who sometimes struggled to stay engaged during reading time were excited to return to familiar characters and continue a series. Having multiple copies of the same books has allowed students to follow along together, discuss important moments in the story, and build deeper comprehension skills. Students especially enjoy getting to know the recurring characters throughout the series, and many were eager to predict what might happen next as the stories continued.\r\n\r\nEven in the short time we were able to use these books before the school year ended, students loved the stories and were already asking to read more from the series.
