Kindergarten is one of the most important years for my students. They will need these tools to succeed when learning how to read, write and math. The ten-frame class set and jumbo magnetic ten-frame will be used in a whole group lesson and small group lessons.(K.OA.A.4). Colors/Shapes Bingo, Numbers Bingo, beginning sounds bingo, alphabet bingo will be fun activities in whole and small group to promote those standards. Students will love learning through the bingo games. (K.CC.C.7, K.G.A.2, RF.K.2d, RF.K.1d) Addition and subtraction Pop and Add will be taught, I want these games to be in small centers for fun time learning. ( K.OA.A.1) My kinders will be so excited for all these fun games! Rhyming is so important and hard for my kinders to understand., and having What's the rhyme sorting houses will help them achieve this standard. (RF.K.2a) This is the first year for my students, and I want them to write the correct way, having these writing centers, practice books, activite center, sight word center will promote good writers in the classroom. Whiteboards are always needed for all kindergarten standards. (W.K.1, RF.K.3c)
