In order to become successful reader, students need practice manipulating letters to build words. The Stack and Build Simple Words kit will give my students the materials needed to practice creating words. If you were to step into my classroom, you would see children working in a small group with activities that help them to practice and perfect the skill of reading. I would love to have materials that are fun, engaging, and that can build knowledge while working in small groups. Materials from this project will help reach students at different grade levels and give them practice to become better readers. All students should be given the materials and opportunities to grow in their reading skills.
