Not only do the students love it, but nearly every teacher that walked by my room during setup exclaimed, \"Ohh you have a new carpet!! It's so nice!!\" or \"That looks so great in your room!\" \r\n\r\nAs I mentioned in my proposal, we are in a new space this year and it has been a major adjustment for all, teachers and students alike. Some classrooms did not have carpets at all, while others had old, dingy ones left behind by other teachers. While it may seem insignificant to someone who has not worked in a school, I can assure you this literally made the biggest difference in my classroom environment. Each student has their own spot, which creates a much needed structure for whole group instruction. It also provides a space for small group learning, independent reading, and center work, all of which enhance learning and are so important for our youngest learners. The bright, yet soft, colors tie the room together and bring a joyful aesthetic to our room. \r\nThank you so much, again, and please know that we all appreciate your donation daily.","fullyFundedDate":1784912653878,"projectUrl":"project/cozy-carpet/10343643/","projectTitle":"Cozy Carpet","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Di Stasio","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9218488"},{"teacherId":5856707,"projectId":10465310,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support in helping bring Secret Stories back into my classroom! The new posters are officially up on our walls, and my students were so excited to see them and start using them! They love referring to the stories throughout the day, especially when reading and writing. It has been wonderful to see how quickly they are making connections, remembering tricky phonics patterns, and already becoming more confident and accurate spellers!\r\n\r\nThese posters are so much more than classroom decorations. They are tools that help my students become independent, successful readers and writers. Thanks to your kindness, my students have a resource they can rely on every day, and one that will continue to benefit future classes for years to come. The materials we received have made a wonderful difference in our students' daily learning experiences. The headphones and earmuffs have been especially helpful during independent learning and technology time, allowing students to focus and work at their own pace with fewer distractions. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card has also allowed me to provide engaging educational activities that support the different learning needs of my students.\r\n\r\nMy students have been especially excited about the STEM building materials, beads, crayons, and other hands-on resources. They love having opportunities to build, create, problem-solve, and use their imaginations while developing important fine motor and critical-thinking skills. The Colors of the World crayons have also been a wonderful addition, giving students the opportunity to represent themselves, their families, and others more authentically in their artwork.\r\n\r\nThe bulletin board materials have helped us create a colorful and welcoming learning environment where student work can be celebrated. The impact of your donation is already visible. Several students have shared how excited they are to use the iPads for coding lessons and engineering simulations. Others are eager to explore digital art, data visualization, and science experiments that require interactive tools. These devices are helping them see themselves not just as learners, but as innovators—people capable of shaping the future rather than simply observing it.\r\nYour support also sends a powerful message: that girls belong in STEM spaces, that their ideas matter, and that their dreams deserve the same resources and encouragement as anyone else's. Representation and opportunity go hand in hand. When girls have access to the tools they need, they gain the confidence to pursue fields where they have historically been underrepresented.
