As one of the lowest performing Title 1 Public Schools in Washington DC, many of these students do not have the opportunity to use this type of technology at home. What makes us even more unique is that we are one of the few Dual Language schools in DCPS, so many students come in knowing little to no Spanish, but leave a fluent speaker. By incorporating tablets into our classroom, students will be able to hear, speak, read, and write in both languages which will help lower the achievement gap in all areas, as well as get them ready for the ever-evolving and culturally diverse 21st century.

About my class
