The materials I have chosen mostly consist of books and activities related to my student's goals. Children's books have always been a way to teach language and important vocabulary through stories. However, in our speech therapy classroom, they are so much more! The books and activities I have chosen will focus on each student's therapy goals, including articulation, sequencing, following directions, etc and will make these goals come to life! My students will enjoy being drawn into a thrilling story while also targeting the goals and skills that they need most.
