I would like to have four tablets in my classroom for students to use the district wide program, ST Math. I would like my students to have 30 minutes daily in the technology station in order to reach their goal of 100% completion by the last day of school.
ST Math is game-based instructional software for K-12 and is designed to boost math comprehension and proficiency through visual learning supporting Common Core State Standards. ST Math incorporates the latest research in learning and the brain and promotes mastery-based learning and mathematical understanding. The ST Math software games use interactive, graphically-rich animations that visually represent mathematical concepts to improve conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. I am also able to monitor their performances and having these tablets will allow me to assist students by way of remediation or enrichment for the levels that they are on. These tablets will also allow students time to work on updated technology to meet their daily goals while working on the program.
