The items that I am requesting will assist with early reading development for early childhood students. To make it an even more engaging experience, we have ensured that the materials will provide students with a hands on approach to learning. The foam magnetic letters provide a safer measure for our students while learning about letters and sounds. While many upper elementary students benefit from the plastic magnetic uppercase and lowercase letters, we have to keep the safety of our younger students in mind. To keep everything together, the letter storage trays will ensure organization while providing a compact one way to transition from learning stations in the classroom.
One of my favorite items are the printed magnetic trays for letter recognition and early writing! Through this resource, students are able to learn the proper formation of lowercase letters using a magnetic stylus. This is also a time when students are learning about which hand is their dominant hand when writing! When joined with the foam letters, students can participate in a matching game or a word building activity. For students in early childhood education, one of the most important goals is for them to write their name. These trays are sure to help them with that process!
I hope that you will be able to help our early learners engage in the reading and writing process!
