My favorite addition to the classroom this school year has been the hanging folders to organize weekly work for absent students. Currently, we are using these new resources as a hands-on digital design and fabrication lab. A specific standout moment was watching student committees collaborate in the Cricut Design app, learning how to manipulate typography and vector graphics to format intricate cultural patterns, then meticulously using the HTVRONT cutting mats and weeding pens to prep their custom designs.\r\nAs a next step, our student leaders will take these custom-fabricated vinyl banners, cardstock flowers, and precision-cut decals directly onto the streets of Oklahoma City for the Fiesta de las Américas state parade during Hispanic Heritage Month.
