I am requesting a variety of materials including a smart screen and speakers for homework help and reinforcement, alternative seating, positive mindset wall art, and fidgets. Students in special education have unique learning differences and needs. They often need visual reinforcement on assignments, as well as a sensory friendly space to support their learning. Alternative seating and an ample supply of fidgets and fine motor tools help support students with ADHD, Anxiety, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Having this space will allow me to focus on supporting their learning and allowing times for sensory breaks and de-escalation. Students with special needs come from diverse backgrounds, often unable to afford necessary supplies and reinforcers. With your help, I can improve their ability to succeed.
