At present, my classroom library is sparse. My hope is to fill it with books that will capture my students' interest and grow their love of reading. I have a diverse group of students, so I need a varied collection of books to meet their needs. Students want to read books that interest them. When students are engaged by their books, they read more. Their enjoyment blossoms, and a positive relationship with reading can grow. For this to happen, my classroom library must grow and adapt to the wide range of students that enter my class everyday.
