The supplies on this list will let my students build sampling tools and plant preservation tools that they can use for Botany and Ecology studies. My students will get to use their ingenuity to design and build their own tools. This will allow my students to experience hands-on learning about the natural world around them. Students will get a college-quality learning experience by building plant sampling and preservation tools, and then using them to start a plant collection (herbarium). More than just learning from a lecture, my students will learn first-hand how science works! These students have the opportunity to leave a legacy behind for future students as they build a lasting plant specimen collection.
