The resources you'll be funding will give students the ability to think critically while we use literature to engage the world's toughest questions such as: What is the meaning of life? How do we advocate for what is right in a way that moves people toward our side? Why do I need to learner? These questions are going to guide my students into a proper understanding behind their need to know how to learn from literature. Students are ready to start engaging; they just need someone to show them how. I am a new teacher, and my classroom reflects this. However, this year I am creating a space that is centered around lowering anxiety and increasing productivity so that the students who enter my space will open up about their thoughts and build ideas off of one another. I saw hints of this last year while we were virtual, and I hope that these resources will be the final piece to creating a near perfect space for my students. Thank you!
