By providing this console, you have given us a powerful, high-interest tool that transforms these hurdles into engaging learning opportunities. We are already seeing the excitement in their eyes, and the \"cool factor\" of the Switch is a brilliant bridge that connects their world to the essential skills they are working so hard to master.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, this Switch is much more than a gaming device; it is a catalyst for social-emotional growth and communication. We use multiplayer games to practice vital life skills like taking turns, following complex directions, and managing the frustrations of losing in a safe, supportive environment. It is truly heartwarming to watch a student who usually struggles to speak suddenly find the words to cheer on a peer or negotiate who gets the next controller. Everything donated was used to ensure a smooth unit on Macbeth in my AP Literature and Composition classroom! The No Fear Shakespeare Macbeth books were the best addition to our classroom because it allowed me to ensure that all students were using the same version of the text. It also provided support for the kids who needed a little extra help deciphering what Shakespeare was saying. The color printer has been amazing because I was able to print in color the student workbooks that I bought for Macbeth. \r\n\r\nThe unsung hero of the day, however, has to be the phone charging cables. Kids are so much less distracted (and less likely to look up answers) when their phones are away from them! Students also wrote a self-evaluation statement explaining the inspiration and ideas in their artwork and how it connected to the themes. These activities are helping my students feel more confident about using what they learn.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generous support, my students are learning to self-regulate, work together, and think critically in ways that go beyond the classroom.
