LEGOs are an amazing aid in helping students diagnosed with ASD express emotions and feelings that they can’t verbalize. LEGOs are also a great STEM activity that my students love. I want to expand my limited supply of LEGOs and mini figures to allow more creativity and more students to participate. I want to incorporate LEGOs into writing and reading as well to help my students create not just in writing, but with LEGOs, a story they have created. To build with their hands the ideas that can be difficult for them to express in writing.
