In the drawing classroom, we spend a lot of time working on meaningful art projects, getting to know one another better, and increase their social skills by encouraging them to work together daily. Right now a lot of time, they are working on proportion for portraits and figures. They are sketching ideas for the next two projects, "Symbolic Self Portraits" and "Diversity Character Design". The two projects will give them the opportunity to express themselves on who they are by using a variety of color markers. A classroom is a place where kids can be themselves and work together to make beautiful drawings.
