Our students need to spend less time on the couch and on technology and more time outside playing games and being physically active. Research has shown physically active students have better physical, mental, and emotional health. This project will be used to teach students various popular and inexpensive backyard games they can learn how to play at school and take their new knowledge home to share with their families. This will inspire the students and their families to be more physically active together. The project will address P.E. standards 1.2.2, 1.5.2, 1.2.4, 1.5.4, 2.2.2, 2.5.2, 3.2.2, 3.5.2,3.2.3, and 3.5.3

About my class
