We're wrapping up our current unit, and then students will move into small groups to dig into force and motion and magnetic field simulations. They haven't gotten their hands on it yet, but the excitement is already building—every day someone asks, \"When do we get to use the iPad?\"\r\n\r\nFor a lot of my students, technology at home means a phone or a tablet for games and videos. This is different. They'll use it like real scientists do—running simulations, changing variables, and watching results in real time. They'll see a ball roll down a ramp and adjust the angle to test how force and motion change. They'll manipulate magnetic fields and actually watch how they interact, which is something I could never show them with a textbook picture.\r\n\r\nWhat I'm most excited about is the small-group piece.
