A vast majority of my students have never left the city of Las Vegas nor been to camp. I would like to bring the outdoor experience to them with an exciting classroom transformation. By changing the physical environment of our classroom to closely mimic a campsite, I am creating excitement and setting the stage to engage in a day of serious, fun learning. My young campers will learn about life cycles, nature, measurement, animals, and practice writing skills at Camp Wright. We will gather around our campfire our made-up, spooky stories while munching on marshmallows and listening to sounds of nature. Help me bring the great outdoors into my classroom.
