Restart follows Chase, a middle schooler who loses his memory after a fall and has to figure out who he was and who he wants to be, and that mix of mystery, sports, and real emotional stakes is exactly the kind of story that hooks kids who normally check out during independent reading.\r\n\r\nWe are planning to read the book and build a character analysis project around it during fourth quarter, so we don't have photos to share just yet, but I promise to send some once we get going. My students will be digging into how Chase changes over the course of the story, comparing who he used to be with who he becomes, and I think this book is going to spark some really honest conversations about identity, second chances, and what it means to actually change.
