The idea of having a space for students to feel safe and comfortable has been my drive as a teacher for 13 years. I want to create areas around the room that are different from the typical setting of a traditional classroom. The Wobble Chairs are great for students to work on projects and other assignments that allows students to get their wiggles out while working. I teach in group or partner settings the use of the Bean Bags will create a safe, relaxing area for students that may need a chance to work on their own and collect their thoughts. While I am working in small groups students can use the stools to sit around a table without the legs of the chairs always being in the way. By donating to this project, you not only will help with academic success, you will also help create a warm and safe environment for some students that may need it the most.
