My students are growing up in the digital age. At home most of them have access to various technology but when they come to school, the best I can give them is paper and pencil. My students are hard workers and highly motivated to learn but they need something a little more engaging. Our school does not qualify for additional funding from the government which also means we loose out on the additional technology that many schools around us are getting. I want my student to have all the tools necessary to be successful in today's and tomorrow's world and having an iPad in the classroom would bring us one step closer to that.
