The novel No Summit out of Sight will help inspire students after a year of distance learning. The novel explains how to overcome challenges in every day life. Additionally, with the help of the laptop I will be able to help students around the room with assignments. Students will then have an opportunity to express how they feel about the challenges that the author has faced and relate them to the challenges they faced during distance learning and the pandemic. With the help of the novel they will be practicing how to summarize the main events of the novel (RI2) and they will be using the novel to determine the authors viewpoints and opinions (RI6) A final project will give students to reflect on all the different events that happened in the novel. (RI3 and RI5).
