These resources have quickly become an integral part of my small group SEL interventions and individual check-in sessions. Just last week, during a feelings identification activity, a student used one of the new books to explain, \"This is exactly how I feel sometimes!\"—a moment that sparked an honest, supportive conversation within the group. The games have also made our sessions more interactive, helping students open up and engage in ways that feel safe and fun.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students' curiosity and excitement were obvious. They eagerly flipped through the books, tested out the sorting cards, and asked if we could \"play the feelings game\" right away. For some students, these tools gave them new words to describe emotions they had never been able to express before. Seeing their faces light up when they made a connection or realized they weren't alone in what they were feeling was truly heartwarming.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our SEL work, these resources will help us deepen our conversations and strengthen self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation skills. Our next step is to use the writing prompts to create personal \"Feelings Journals,\" allowing each student to track and reflect on their emotions over time. I want to express my deepest gratitude for your generous support in helping children learn, grow, and thrive this school year. Your donation of classroom essentials, books, learning tools, snacks and more have made a real difference in the lives of young learners who need it most.\r\nMy students have had the opportunity to gain access to essential resources that improve their focus and learning experience. Whether it's providing cool colorful books, school supplies, tutoring, or a quiet place to study, your generosity is giving them the tools they need to succeed. Just this year, thanks to supporters like you, we have been able use new tools to help students learn with effective tools to keep calm behavior and to be used to maintain focus. \r\nThe items from this donation have been used in various ways for both learning and enjoyment. The letter beads have allowed us to be creative while strengthening our spelling and fine motor skills. Student's creativity with the letter beads has been amazing, spelling out words and making beautiful designs. The artwork they have created with the crayons has brought so much color and joy to our classroom with vibrant colors to our artwork and class projects, making learning even more fun. The Splat the Cat books have been a huge hit—students love reading about Splat's adventures and sharing their favorite parts with each other. Seeing how students dive into new books with enthusiasm shows how much they love reading and learning new things. And, of course, the fidgets have been incredibly helpful in keeping us focused and engaged throughout the day. They have learned to use fidgets to help stay focused and calm. It's wonderful to see how they support my students in finding balance and staying engaged in their work. These tools have begun to help them recognize what helps them learn best as a skill that will benefit them for years to come. \r\nSeeing the smiles on students' faces as they explore these tools is a reminder of how much a simple gift can inspire and motivate young learners. Thanks to your kindness, my students now have the tools they need to stay focused, engaged, and excited about learning. Your generosity is more than just a donation—it's an investment in these children's success.
