Because of you, my 6th graders now have new books, fun board games, a classroom caddy stocked with supplies, and materials for drawing or any other creative project they may want to create. These items have completely transformed our classroom during lunch into a cozy, creative, and welcoming space.\r\n\r\nThe cafeteria can be very loud and overwhelming for some of my students, so they choose to spend their lunch in my classroom instead. Now, thanks to your donation, they have meaningful activities to enjoy together. The books are constantly being borrowed, the art supplies are in daily use, and it's been so special to watch students who wouldn't normally interact sit down to play board games and laugh together. The room feels calmer, happier, and full of positive energy.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has helped create such a wonderful environment for my students during lunch. Our old classroom printer was no longer functioning well so this made a world of difference in our ability to print materials.\r\n\r\nHaving a classroom printer allows us to print materials that the students need in the moment instead of having to wait for copies to be made and returned. This is allowed my students to refer to the important information whenever necessary. \r\n\r\nThe box of cookies has been a great incentive, especially when we do review and the students compete. Interactive platforms provide immediate feedback, adaptive programs meet each child at their own level, and digital resources open doors to knowledge that once felt out of reach. Students are not just consuming information—they're actively exploring, experimenting, and collaborating in ways that deepen their understanding.\r\n\r\nThe product's interactive features have been a huge hit. Gamified lessons and creative design tools make learning feel like play, while real‑world applications show students how their skills connect to life beyond school. The excitement in the classroom is palpable—students are eager to log in and see what new challenges await them.","fullyFundedDate":1758898867928,"projectUrl":"project/bringing-math-to-life-with-color/9741012/","projectTitle":"Bringing Math to Life with Color!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. F","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3337321"},{"teacherId":644544,"projectId":9695400,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous support of my class' project. Prior to receiving the funding, it was difficult to have students had difficulty presenting their work to the class without blocking the view of all of the students in the room. Having a mobile presentation station with a writing tablet that wirelessly connects to the computer has made all the difference.\r\n\r\nStudents now have the opportunity to face the board from anywhere in the room while looking at the screen. They no longer have to worry about using the awkward pen that comes with the board (and, to be honest, is misplaced a LOT) while trying to reach the upper corners that are nearly six feet off the ground. Now, they can comfortably use the tablet to write easily on all parts of the board without standing in the way of a classmate who is trying to see what is written.\r\n\r\nThis was possible through your generous donation and we could not be more grateful that you felt our classroom deserved the chance to purchase these materials. We recently were mandated to use a curriculum that has digital interface to deliver instruction. Needless to say that having an online platform as the main means of instruction was a shift that was very challenging. Students had a workbook that was the print version of the lessons, but nowhere to synthesize the material. I was able to create unit packets that students could use as a roadmap to navigate through the curriculum and have a one-stop shop of notes, examples, and reflection space. These have been a life saver in our class this year. My students have a concrete note catcher that has become their individualized learning tools. This would not have been possible without your generous support.\r\n\r\n Small-group work and testing has become so much more constructive because the privacy shields have kept distractions to a minimum. When we use them during testing, I have found that cheating is practically non-existent and I can see exactly what each students knows without having to ascertain whether or not the score is valid. \r\n\r\nI use the Building Thinking Classrooms method of seating students which involves randomly matching triads of students every class period. The brightly colored cardstock has served as student name tents that are easily collected, shuffled and distributed. Such a simple tool, provided through your generosity, has allowed me to reap a big benefit. These name tents simply would not have been possible without your willingness to help fund this project.\r\n\r\nMy students are eager to learn every day, but many need that extra something to help them narrow the gaps in their learning and to maintain their interest and support their learning. Having the supplies that were funded through this Donors Choose project made a big impact and I am extremely grateful to you.","fullyFundedDate":1755735194714,"projectUrl":"project/starting-the-year-off-right/9473490/","projectTitle":"Starting the Year Off Right","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Santaniello","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp644544_orig.jpg?crop=1607,1608,x0,y21&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1661720739486","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-santaniello-194"},{"teacherId":3337321,"projectId":9132494,"letterContent":"When the Cricut arrived, students were instantly intrigued.
