Each year, I struggle to fund all of the supplies I really need for my classroom. The following supplies I've requested are the supplies that we still really need for the classroom to get us through the 2nd half of the school year: dry erase pockets, dry erase erasers, a new file organizer, hanging organizer for quick access to calculators and Plicker cards, storage baskets for my students to keep their belongings in one place, and some new pencils. Our Plicker cards are currently on the wall in two-pocket folders, which are falling apart from repeated use. We also do a lot of project-based learning activities in my classroom, as I teach Special Education, and many benefit from more hands-on activities. We use dry erase pockets often to help reach all types learners, especially with graphing. Pencils are incredibly important at this point in the school year, as the state exams are quickly approaching and we're running very low!
