Imagine coming to a new school and not knowing anyone. Now imagine also not knowing English at a proficient level or at all. These are struggles that my students face. I want to help make the transition to middle school social studies a bit easier for them while still challenging them. In order to do this, I need ink for our printer so that I can print vocabulary charts and graphic organizers. The students also need highlighters to master literacy skills throughout the year. Lastly the picture dictionaries will help in their overall understanding of the content they are learning. With these materials, my ELL students will be learning English in no time!
