With the tape the students can really identify the materials that you need for the lab we are doing. I can also label the graduated cylinders so that there is no cross contamination of the chemicals. This helps to increase the safety of the students. \r\n\r\n The carts have been a tremendous help also. It makes getting equipment and supplies back and forth from the stock room so much easier. In addition the carts help me stay organized with my 4 different classes I am teaching this year. \r\n\r\nThe student love pushing the cart around the room when we are getting ready and cleaning up for labs.","fullyFundedDate":1733180709670,"projectUrl":"project/lab-organization-labeling/8939280/","projectTitle":"Lab Organization & Labeling","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Bowen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8178180"},{"teacherId":8113885,"projectId":8873058,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation to the Japanese class. Thanks to your support, we were able to use dry erase markers, which helped students practice writing Japanese characters. This hands-on learning approach allowed them to explore everything from the alphabet to more advanced Kanji characters. With each Kanji they mastered, students gained a deeper understanding of the language and its writing system.\r\n\r\nAs students continue to learn more Kanji, they are now able to read a wider range of texts, including articles in Japanese. This opens up opportunities for them to explore topics that interest them and develop a global perspective. Being able to read current articles enhances their understanding of Japanese culture, history, and global events, all while improving their language skills. Additionally, students are highly motivated to complete their assignments, as they can earn anime stickers as rewards for their hard work and progress, which has added a fun incentive to their learning.\r\n\r\nIn addition to language lessons, students were also able to engage with Japanese culture more directly by playing kendama. This traditional Japanese toy helped them gain a greater appreciation for the culture and its unique customs. By incorporating both language and cultural activities, students are able to immerse themselves in a more holistic learning experience, making the class both fun and educational. The excitement of earning anime stickers has made them even more eager to participate and push themselves in both their language skills and cultural exploration.","fullyFundedDate":1738052296032,"projectUrl":"project/support-students-to-learn-japanese/8873058/","projectTitle":"Support Students to Learn Japanese!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Katashima","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8113885_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1707961514257","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8113885"},{"teacherId":4496187,"projectId":8823404,"letterContent":"The Arbor View students are enjoying the new Lego table and the Perler Bead table in the library.
