By purchasing a DLSR camera & a prime lens students will be able to meet the following photography standards: CONTENT STANDARD 3.0 : IDENTIFY AND USE DIFFERENT TYPES OF CAMERAS AND LENSES PERFORMANCE STANDARD 3.1 : DEMONSTRATE COMPETENCE IN USING VARIOUS TYPES OF CAMERAS PERFORMANCE STANDARD 3.2 : DEMONSTRATE USE OF VARIOUS LENSES AND THEIR APPLICATION Students will learn how to adjust their F-stop to affect the Depth of Field. Students will learn how the ISO affects both exposure & noise. Students will learn how to shoot panned, stopped & blurred action photos to demonstrate how the shutter speed affects motion blur. Finally, students will learn how to shoot in full manual mode.
