These materials will help provide students in both the general English classroom and the Speech & Debate team an opportunity and materials that not only makes access easier, but reduces the confusion students face in this already confusing set-up of online-learning. Kami allows students to annotate PDF documents as well as easily complete worksheets that before this year that were quickly printed to help guide student learning. While we are asked to use Canvas as our Learning Management System, Kami seamlessly integrates with Canvas and Google Drive, allowing students flexibility, access, and is something that my students have become well-accustomed to using. By integrating directly with our LMS, my students, who already struggle with changing habits even this far into the school year, are less likely to get lost in a path of clicks that I would otherwise need them to follow. The collection of scripts will be useful in looking at authorship in the English classroom but are predominantly meant to provide my Speech & Debate team more opportunity to choose performance materials that are quality and usable in tournaments that could result in national recognition. I have a talented group of students and I aim to continue adding and growing our team for future seasons; having a library from which students can use materials for multiple competitive events encourages students to compete in those events!
