Because of your generosity, this project became a powerful example of how kids can make a real difference when they work together.\r\n\r\nMy students have been deeply inspired by learning about the Little Free Libraries in our community. With your support, they were able to turn that inspiration into action by creating literacy bags to share with other children. Students proudly filled each bag themselves, carefully including books from their book drive, new books from this project, reading-themed stickers and pencils, plush reading buddies, and even bubbles as a fun reward for reading.\r\n\r\nTo make reading inviting and accessible, each bag also included a beach towel so children could sit comfortably and enjoy their books. The completed literacy bags were placed in the Little Free Library at the park across the street from our school and in the two Little Free Libraries in front of our community's elementary schools.\r\n\r\nSeeing their work placed directly into the community was incredibly meaningful for my students.
