My name is Leanne Kirk and I am a fifth grade educator in a high needs school district. There is not a day that goes by where I don't know my purpose in life, as everyday I feel I am making a difference in the lives of many young individuals. In terms of my educational practice, I feel that getting to know each and everyone of my students in and out both academically and socially is an essential part to my teaching. Showing them that I care for their well being and respect them is an important part to inspiring them to learn and reach their full potential. Furthermore, I feel that learning should be a process that is ongoing. I myself am extremely passionate about the field of education, and I consider myself a life-long learner. I would like to instill this same passion in my students, and I want nothing more than the absolute best for them.
