We will use these books to introduce and develop the understanding of a garden and how plants grow. We will create individual plants using the kit ,soil and seeds we hope to receive. Our students learn from hands on activities to learn. They will learn that planting vegetables and other plants are a healthy and great way to find happiness outside. We will learn that we cannot eat, drink or breathe without plants. They will learn the importance of daily gardening and how it can make our earth cleaner. Learning through ecological literacy and respect for the earth, along with important gardening skills will allow them to have a better understanding of the life cycle of the plant.
