Because of you, our classroom library has been transformed into an inviting, organized space where books are easy to see, reach, and enjoy. The shelves are arranged by just-right reading levels, topics, favorite authors, and individual student book bins, which allows children to quickly find books that match their interests and abilities.\r\n\r\nWhen the bookshelves arrived, my students were beyond excited. Their faces lit up as they explored the shelves and noticed how the books were sorted just for them. One of my favorite moments was during independent reading time when students confidently walked to the shelves, selected their own books, and settled in to read without needing help. This independence has been incredibly empowering for them and has already increased both their reading stamina and enthusiasm.\r\n\r\nWe are using these new resources every day during independent reading, small-group instruction, and literacy centers. Students now take responsibility for choosing, caring for, and returning books to the correct spots. This has supported differentiated learning, as each child can access books at their own level while still exploring topics they love.\r\n\r\nOur next steps include using these organized libraries to strengthen reading goals, track individual reading progress, and encourage students to challenge themselves with new genres and authors. The old boxes were splitting down the sides and kids had to be so careful not to break it. Now they're more durable and don't have handles that rip off. The new labels allow us to continue labeling the boxes since the sturdy style boxes don't have label slots. These labels easily clip onto the handles and continue to keep us organized.\r\n\r\nThank you for the storage bins!
