Giving student the ability to sit comfortably with the ability to move in their seat without distracting others is key to the successes in learning with the special education population. Many of my students are active and would greatly appreciate a chair or rug that is comfortable. Being able to move in your seat, but still maintain focus on the learning is a recipe to important learning. My students receive resource room and pull out services where I bring them to another room for testing accommodations, extra help, or specific instruction and teaching to meet the needs that they each have in the classroom. These students would benefit from a colorful, comfortable and safe environment where their educational goal can be met during the school year. We appreciate the generosity that you all put forth everyday to help student succeed.
